I run art workshops every Friday at Elkamo Restaurant in Margaret River. This is perfect for those that are new to painting and don’t know what step to take or those wanting to create in a safe space. You will be guided through the instructions and take home a piece of artwork that you will be proud to hang on your wall.

Kooky the Kookaburra
Don’t be intimidated by creating an animal! We break this design down into achievable small steps and each little kookaburra comes out with their own personality.
Where the Trees Meet the Pastel Skies
This little beauty leaves each artist feeling so calm and accomplished. The main focus for this piece is blending the background then adding in the tree line with a few easy brush strokes.
Nuts About Gum Nuts
I just love the contrast of this one and its so very easy for each artist to achieve. This piece is simple yet elegant and so quintessential Australian.
arum lillies of wooditjup
This design is a little bit of a contentious one as Arum Lillies are a noxious weed throughout the South West. It is hard not to be inspired to paint it though as due to their spreading nature, you’ll find these beautiful but toxic lillies around every corner of the South West in Spring time.
sunset sessions
This epic wave takes a bit longer than the other designs, but is still achievable by breaking it down into small steps. Relax into the comfort of colouring in the arches and the ease of drawing in the lines and come out with an epic wave to hang on your wall.
Good Looking Rooster
The Good Looking Rooster is a fun one to complete as there is a nice mix of painting with abandon for the feathers, leaves and background as well as the need for accuracy and attention to detail for the roosters head.
Dopey Dora the Dairy Cow
Dopey Dora the Dairy Cow is one of the more challenging designs but is also one of the most rewarding. At the end of the workshop each cow looks adorable and has their own little character.
Our Friends in the Night
This peaceful design captures our twilight friends of the South West – the ringtail possums. If you’re quiet near the bushes at night time you’ll be lucky to catch a glimpse of these cute little critters.
